For over five years, Heather Jackson has solidified her career in the area of project management.  Along the way, she has adapted to various forms of construction software.  Her experiences have assisted her in developing a well-rounded command and expertise as a project manager.  In order to keep pace with the industry, Jackson is currently pursuing a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.  She looks forward to polishing her already seasoned resume with her PMP certification.

Professional Experience

Since October 2019, Heather Jackson has been a member of the Sure Steel, Inc team.  Representing the company as Project Manager, her role is extremely hands-on.  Her duties in this role range from writing “thank you” cards to project team members to identifying risks and filling out risk management plans for each project at Sure Steel, Inc.  By far, her favorite part of her position as Project Manager is the opportunity to provide superb customer service.  A people-person, Jackson loves working with others — especially in a team environment.  Often tasked with managing the quality function, Jackson plays a vital role in maintaining safety and continuity at Sure Steel Inc.

As part of the Project Team, Heather Jackson assists in managing project expenditures and job cost accounting processes.  This proves to be no small task, as accuracy in documentation is key.  She also ensures compliance with safety stands, practices and codes, as applicable to the company, its customers and the industry, overall.  As the leader of the Project Team, Jackson is responsible for 15 employees who are responsible for project planning, mentoring and resource management.  Maintaining a safe and secure job site in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards is always at the forefront of her command and planning as Project Manager and Project Team Leader.
