Microsoft teams up with the Army for Augmented Reality (AR) training and devices. Heather Jackson, proud veteran, discusses the potential for this collaboration:

It’s no secret that the military gravitates toward innovation.   And when it comes to training, navigating that cutting edge is absolutely paramount.  That’s why the U.S. Army has implemented tech like Augmented Reality (AR) into their training programs more and more over time.  Thanks to a new 10 year contract with Microsoft, AR will be a driving force in Army training.  Not only will this expand training horizons in the military, but the collaboration could also lead to some interesting bonuses for civilians.  With regular use, the U.S. Army may even find a way to improve and advance AR.  Heather Jackson looks forward to updates on this new training method.
